This will the first release update we have on our new platform here at https://feedback.biyopos.com!

We have changed to a platform where we can publish announcements, get customer feedback, have our customers vote on the most requested features and suggestions as well as the ability to provide a transparent roadmap as to what we have coming next in the pipeline.

Kiosk Mode has Arrived!

Your customers can now place orders and pay with confidence through Biyo's Kiosk self-service solution. The kiosk’s intuitive design makes ordering a breeze and allows users to input their orders directly while reducing staff interaction and increasing order accuracy and service speeds.

How to Enable Kiosk Mode?

It's very simple to enable Kiosk Mode. Just navigate to the terminal of choice in your dashboard and change the mode to "Kiosk Mode".

• Permission is required when changing Qty for items already submitted for the Cashier role

Hello Biyo Family!

We know that a changelog post is well overdue!

The main reason for it is that have been working very closely with our customers to help implement new upcoming features as well improvements in our existing products, as a result, there have been delays from our original roadmap dates.

Regardless, we will be going back on track to improve and provide the best possible value for our customers.

You may have or have not noticed some of these updates since they were updated silently.

The latest update includes:

• Increased stability of the core functionalities
• Ability to accept Cash Discounts for U.S stores (Zero-processing)
• Ability to Print to PDF
• Ability to Print to 58mm thermal printers
• Ability to Hide Dining Options from receipts
• Notes can now be added to Kitchen receipts
• Table Names are now visible on Kitchen Receipts
• Orders that are being worked is locked on other terminals
• Items that are Taxed are now indicated clearly
• Report filters have been improved
• Improvements on Multi-Store Pricing functionality
• Improvements on Biyo Inventory Scanner
• Sorting capabilities for Modifier Groups
• Employee names are now visible on the Table Section layouts

Dashboard

• Ability to set stores to calculate reports as "Tax Inclusive" on product prices or "Tax Exclusive"
• Ability to configure - Lock Shift reports for "Cashier" model - Regular cashiers/users can't see shift reports.
• Ability to configure - Order Lock based on the created user. Only, the user that created the owner and managers can access the order.

Point of Sale

• Ability to calculate Tax Inclusive / Tax Exclusive Pricing
• Receipt printer improvements in margins/alignment.
• Ability to lock shift reports, and request PIN of Manager or Owner
• Show Restriction popup for orders that do not belong to the user.

Known Issues

Hotfix will be provided within the week.

• Incorrect title on Kitchen Receipt and Auto Sending items that are were added previously and or qty changed

Dashboard

• Ability to assign Minimum number of Selections or Maximum number of selections on Modifiers
• Ability to assign multiple Tax Rates to a single product.
• Ability to assign multiple Printers to a single product.
• Ability to define Dining types such as To Go, Dine-In, etc.

Point of Sale

• Ability to use minimum or maximum values for the modifier groups.
• Ability to calculate multiple tax rates on a single product.
• Ability to print to multiple kitchen/preparation printers for a single product
• Added Sync Button to the PIN Screen for easy access
• Added default PIN text 1234 for new users
• Improvements on UI/UX added "More Options" where you can select Hold, Move, Split, Discount

 

We would first like you to know that we will be releasing our next update on January 3rd, 2021.

The release will include new features and improvements in the following areas:

• Extended Tax Rates capabilities
• Extended Kitchen Printer capabilities

• New Improvements in the UI/UX
